What can a strip of LED lights be used for? It’s small and not beautiful, but it’s made up of countless bright spots. OK, stop here. Don’t underestimate the creative minds of the gods. Their imagination is far beyond your imagination.
The elegant apartment is named “The Collision of Youth”. The two designers said, “We tried to find a balance between design and functional layout, and achieved a homogeneous and harmonious result that meets the differentiated requirements of the male and female owners.” The design concept was originally derived from the owner’s desire to have two staircases leading to the bedroom on the attic. Correspondingly, this concept was considered a key consideration in the design. The designers used ribbon-like homogeneous medium-density fiberboard as the main material to divide and plan the layout of the space.
The architects made full use of floors, ceilings, stairs, beds, bookshelves, and other hidden storage spaces to create a continuous, uniform band. The simple layout and unique, built-in LED lighting add a bit of fun to this small space.
The twisted orange geometric structure breaks the single white tone of the living room and responds to the owner’s personal style. The room uses a layered approach, with the bed placed on the upper right side of the door near the wall, and its passage facing the corner of the room. The traffic flow in the room is guided by the staircase, with the side of the male host going upstairs decorated with exposed metal panels, while the side of the female host is made of main structure as steps, which is more solid and exquisite. Below the staircase, a hidden storage space is constructed through the panel, with its edge extending to the top of the staircase. On the side of the wall is a unique niche-style bookshelf.
